Size and Scale of our Solar System

Presentation The size and scale of our solar system objects will be discussed using a scale model of our solar system and reference points in Oxbow park.               Night Sky Observing with the Rochester Astronomy Club Come and enjoy the night sky views and indoor presentations with members of the Rochester Astronomy Club at Oxbow Park. Volunteers from the Rochester Astronomy Club will set up telescopes in the Nature Center parking lot to share the night sky objects with you. Additionally , there are indoor presentations related to astronomy and space-related sciences.  In the event of cloudy skies or poor weather the event will still be held indoors.
