Public Night Sky observing events are a great way for anyone with an interest in astronomy to come and enjoy the night sky with the assistance of amateur astronomers.  At these events, amateur astronomers will set up telescopes in a public location and encourage people to view stars, planets and other objects of interest. If you are new to astronomy, or have an interest in astronomy, come to one of these events! They are free and lots of fun.
